Blood, Bones & Bastards

Blood, Bones & Bastards is a minimalist tabletop role-playing game set in the grim and unforgiving world of 14th century France, amidst the chaos of the Black Plague. Designed for 1-4 players (including the Baron, our term for the Game Master), this game plunges you into a world where survival is uncertain, moral dilemmas abound, and the ever-present threat of pestilence looms.

In this game, you will:

• Take on the roles of mercenary misfits, known as "Bastards," each with their unique strengths and weaknesses.
• Navigate the dangerous and plague-ridden landscape, accepting desperate jobs from villagers, noble houses, and the Church.
• Make tough moral choices that shape your story and influence the world around you.
• Deal with the constant threat of infection, starvation, and violence, knowing that death is almost inevitable.
• Roll dice to determine outcomes of combat, healing, and other crucial actions with a simple yet engaging d6 system.
